@autumn linus asked chatGPT, ended up with popOS, still managed to struggle getting l4d2 to run properly. at least he didn't distro hop in the first episode. (comments say he once again chose popOS at the worst possible time- i just dislike using debian-based distros for gaming)

elijah went for bazzite. it works pretty well

luke went for cachyOS. it works pretty well

unfortunately, tonight's stream will have to be cancelled, too.

this is incredibly disappointing- i really hoped to play through more nier tonight, but this week has been a bit of a mess. to make sure no further cancellations occur in the near future, i'm putting ari melody LIVE on a (hopefully) brief hiatus.

every desktop fedi client i've used suffers from one of the following issues:

- no account switcher
- no emoji reaction support
- broken/incomplete mastodon API support

this stinks mostly because chuckya-fe-standalone works fine doesn't support account switching
