@lizzy @julia as an ex-void user as of a month or so, despite loving runit as an alternative, it's one of the reasons i switched to fedora.
i too would rather software that's maintained over software that isn't, regardless of how i feel about AI use.
unless you can give developers some way they can maintain their massive (and highly depended upon) codebases, this is the trade-off.
