@jaredwhite i don't usually think of open-source as a political stance, but considering that framework is currently one of the biggest forces behind open, ethical, and consumer-friendly hardware in the world right now, i definitely see your point!with this in mind, it's very interesting to see this giant, ostensibly political force suddenly temper themselves to "apolitical discourse" the moment marginalised people's rights and freedoms enter the equation.
the current discourse across the fence reads a lot like "we're having fun with our cultural movement over here, take your other yucky cultural movement somewhere else"
