@halva ireland is particularly awful in its handling of trans healthcare, at least of the nations where it isn't outlawed entirely.
we don't operate on informed consent, against WPATH recommendations, instead requiring a psychological evaluation for HRT to be deemed "right for you". our medical system (not just for trans healthcare) is critically understaffed, so the estimated wait is about five years, just to be seen by a panel of psychologists to "diagnose" you with gender dysphoria.
i've so far gotten one response suggesting someone who got HRT through the system, and frankly i'm surprised it was that high.
