@yukijoou@julia i was thinking this was one of those SSO "Sign in with Apple" prompts, honestly. in that case, they would have successfully abstracted away the concept of an account, which i personally find terrifying
@halva@shio i would say "they must be fun at parties" but going to a party could pose a security risk (their smartphone has left their airgapped home environment)
@shio what sucks is the facial scanning on pixels is an abject downgrade from face ID on iphones, so like asking for an option to use it is asking for crumbs at that point
did a lot of work on my home networking today - i now actually (mostly) support ipv6 (at least on clients) - bluesky works on my phone on my network now (!!!) - did a lot of groundwork towards future improvements
