a typical library provides a net social good by providing easy access to human knowledge. a library economy expands this concept to all things: tools, clothing, utilities, hell- even housing! what's taken is borrowed, and what's no longer needed is returned and redistributed. a self-sustaining cycle with mutual benefit and more effective utilisation of resources!
definitely not in AOSP because something something if apple could see google's hack for this they would totally patch it, and also AOSP is famously google's unloved orphan child, but hey, nice to have something!
