this issue only occurs on my PDS, specifically

harrowing to realise this is specifically a me problem

gonna make sure my PDS is up-to-date next time i'm at a computer- not at 3am when i'm in bed and should be asleep

i'm having a hilarious tech problem with the bluesky app on android i'm sure y'all are gonna love

on my home network specifically, the app cannot fulfill network requests. there's no error, it just endlessly spins.

it does not matter if i am on a VPN, in fact VPNing to my house from elsewhere does not reproduce this issue. it's only while on my home wifi.

current semi-reliable workaround: open the app, swap to a networked app (this is important), wait a while, then swap back in. this works for exactly one (1) (☝️) render of the timeline, after which the app truly stops loading data for no reason :D

@ixhby your only solution (that i'm aware of) is a VPN configuration. i've duplicated my existing wireguard tunnel for home, but provided a local IP address instead.
