@serverlessaoife private practice has been unreliable for me so far, but i'm persisting until i can't take the constant denial any more. waiting list ETAs have been a mile long (assuming they even get back to me), and i still don't know anyone personally who's gone down this route with success.

@halva ireland is particularly awful in its handling of trans healthcare, at least of the nations where it isn't outlawed entirely.

we don't operate on informed consent, against WPATH recommendations, instead requiring a psychological evaluation for HRT to be deemed "right for you". our medical system (not just for trans healthcare) is critically understaffed, so the estimated wait is about five years, just to be seen by a panel of psychologists to "diagnose" you with gender dysphoria.

i've so far gotten one response suggesting someone who got HRT through the system, and frankly i'm surprised it was that high.

update: some avatars and banners. some work fine, whereas others don't at all. thinking this may have been an early federation issue? my server did go down a couple times, possibly while processing images.

new issue: how do i clear the avatar/banner cache in iceshrimp.net ;p
